The Taunton Heritage Trust continues to fulfil the charitable wishes of its original founders, as it has done through the centuries since 1635.

Demands on the Trust are as great now as at any time in its history for both almshouse accommodation and grant requests. The Trustees are conscious of their duty to maintain the fabric of the buildings, not only for our generation, but also for all those who will benefit in the future and to retain the ability to be able to assist as many people in Taunton Deane as possible.

Any gift, big or small will enable the Taunton Heritage Trust to continue its work and there are a few ways in which you can help:

You can make a donation towards the work of the Trust at any time. Please contact the office on 01823 335348 or email info@tauntonheritagetrust.org.uk for more information.

You can leave a gift in your Will to the Trust by one of the following means:

• A residuary gift – once your loved ones have been provided for, you can leave a percentage of your remaining estate to us.
• A sum of money or a pecuniary gift – you choose exactly how much you wish to leave us by naming a specific amount in your Will.
• An item of value – you choose to leave specific items in your Will like a piece of jewellery or some shares.
